Miss Manda and Miss Jacquie

11th June 2018

Dear Parent and students

July 2018 will find us saying goodbye to two of Cardwell Theatre School’s longest serving teachers.

Miss Jacquie, who has worked alongside Miss Lynda since 1998 is to work full time at the highly successful Dance Academy, Corby Glenn, alongside her daughter and Principal of the school Mrs Jane Brown (a former student of C.T.S)

Miss Amanda who joined the school in 2003 has taken a full time teaching position at the Northern Ballet School Manchester, this along with her role as a member of the Faculty of the Academy of Northern Ballet for CAT in Leeds means she will have to stop teaching for us on a regular basis. She will, we are delighted to say be back to cover classes if/when Miss Lynda is in Australia and is to continue her own Associate classes (open to Cardwell Theatre School students) at the studios on designated Sundays throughout the year.

Both Ladies have played a huge part in developing the high standard Cardwell Theatre School is renowned for and we will always be indebted to them for the time and effort they have dedicated to the school. We are sure everyone at C.T.S. wishes both these wonderful ladies all the best for the future.

We will be welcoming onto the teaching Faculty Miss Emily Bancroft A.I.D.T.A who will be working with the Junior School and we are also excited that Mrs Alicia Graham, who has been covering for Miss Lisa’s maternity leave has agreed to stay on as a permanent teacher. Alicia is an expert in Contemporary Dance will be offering classes in this and also Body conditioning and stretch classes.

All information for September 2018 will be issued before the end of term.

Kind regards

Miss Lynda
